The main characters were cute every time they were together and I loved how it was about cooking and trying to make people happy. I loved the characters and the environment. This is another short story from an author I’ve never read anything from and another one of my favorite stories from this book. This story really makes me think about that movie. Also, both Jamie and Gracie are the pastor’s daughter. Actually, this story made me think of one of my favorite movies, A Walk to Remember because Vaughn and Gracie are a little bit like Landon and Jamie and when they’re doing the Christmas show and that made me like this short story a little bit more.
I did think that this was a cute story and I liked that it had the good girl, bad boy kind of thing. It wasn’t one of my favorites and I had a few problems with it but I did like it. Once again, I have never read anything by the author but I did enjoy this short story. This book is a collection of twelve short stories related to the this season of the year. Today I’m going to be reviewing Beer Buckets and Baby Jesus by Myra McEntire and Welcome to Christmas, CA by Kiersten White.
